That fight makes no sense for EXC whatsoever. Kimbo isn't ready for someone like Buentello. As far as storylines go, there is no more intriguing opponent for Kimbo than Gannon. Kessler-Bute would also be awesome. I would have no problems with that. I am fully aware that Bute-Pavlik was more in the 'wishful thinking' category. Trinidad-Pavlik? NO MAS (or No Grazie). Buentello is just trying to attach himself to Kimbo. That fight makes no sense for EXC whatsoever. Kimbo isn’t ready for someone like Buentello.

I saw that Buentello issued an open challenge to Kimbo which I think would be a light out slugfest. I don't know if the management at EXC would want to risk the chance of putting Kimbo in a position to lose just yet. But I see the fight as a possible Brock Lesnar situation.
